Chakra Healing

Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning "spinning wheel of energy". The Chakras are the dynamic conduits of Life, connecting you directly to the Universal Life Force. There are seven major chakras running along the spine, and each chakra is situated at a major endocrine gland, and nerve bundle within the physical body, called a plexus. Each chakra is connected and associated with different parts of the body, and through Chakra balancing, you can easily achieve a healthier balance of your body, mind and spirit.
Each chakra has a chakra color, and different Chakra gemstones and crystals can be associated with these chakra colors. Most importantly, each Chakra is associated with different sound healing frequencies; sound healing is the most direct and powerful way to easily achieve Chakra balance. Understanding and using your chakras can easily promote physical, emotional and spiritual healing and wellbeing, and can lend energy to your manifestational work, bringing abundance and comfort on all levels.

What is Chakra Healing?

Modern science is only now beginning to recognize what the ancient mystics and wise men have told us for centuries; that everything (including you) is in a constant state of vibration. The most elemental state of vibration is that of sound, and of color. Everything has an optimum range of vibration, and that rate is called resonance. When we are in resonance, we are in balance. One of the most effective ways to use sound to heal the body is to recognize that every organ, and every cell, absorbs and emits sound, and has a particular optimum resonate frequency. The most direct way to influence the resonance of the body with sound healing is through the Chakras. Emotions and mental states also have certain resonant frequencies; this is the secret behind the transformative power of spiritual music and song, spoken prayers and mantras. And different emotions and mental states are also connected to specific chakra sound frequencies, and respond to different colors. When exposed to a resonant Chakra sound frequency long enough, the Chakras will fall into sync; and when your Chakras are in harmony, so is the rest of you. Chakra healing sounds and binaural beat sound therapy techniques can be used to realign the "out of sync frequencies" you may be experiencing within you mind or body, by exposing you to the optimum sound frequencies for the changes you wish to make within yourself.

Chakra Healing with Sound

In Tibetan Buddhist practice, Tibetan Singing Bowls are used for meditation, trance and prayer. Some experts say Tibetan Singing Bowls were used for meditation, while others say they were magical tools for transformation of self and of matter. Personally, I think it is both, and that is why I primarily use Chakra balancing Tibetan Singing Bowls to produce the magical and transformative Chakra sounds used in my binaural beat Chakra meditation CDs, MP3s and videos. The organic chakra sounds are unrivaled for inducing a trance state, and by using Tibetan Singing Bowls that are attuned to the various Chakras, we can facilitate near magical transformations body, mind and soul. The old, traditional Tibetan Singing Bowls were made out of an amalgam of the Seven Alchemical Metals, which correspond to:
Lead - Saturn - 1st Chakra
Iron - Mars - 2nd Chakra
Tin - Jupiter - 3rd Chakra
Gold - Sun - 4th Chakra
Copper - Venus - 5th Chakra
Silver - Moon - 6th Chakra
Mercury - Mercury - 7th Chakra
Solfeggio frequencies are the original sound frequencies used in Ancient Gregorian Chants, such as the great hymn to St. John the Baptist. The chants and their special Solfeggio tones were believed to impart tremendous spiritual blessings and transformation, when sung in harmony during religious masses.
The Six Solfeggio Frequencies include:
1. UT - 396 Hz - Liberating Guilt and Fear (First Chakra)
2. RE - 417 Hz - Undoing Situations and Facilitating Change (Second Chakra)
3. MI - 528 Hz - Transformation and Miracles (DNA Repair) (Third Chakra)
4. FA - 639 Hz - Connecting/Relationships (Fourth Chakra)
5. SOL - 741 Hz - Awakening Intuition (Fifth Chakra)
6. LA - 852 Hz - Returning to Spiritual Order (Sixth Chakra)
These Solfeggio frequencies are reputed to have many psycho-spiritual and physical healing benefits- the third note, Solfeggio frequency 528, relates to the note MI on the Western musical scale, and derives from the phrase "MI-ra gestorum", which in Latin means "miracle." Amazingly, this is the exact frequency used by genetic biochemists to repair broken DNA, the genetic blueprint upon which life is based!
In an "East meets West" coincidence, the Solfeggio frequencies correspond to the Chakra sound frequencies, with the Crown Chakra vibrating at 963 Hz. The Chakra Healing Sound programs on this website utilize the various Chakra balancing tones associated with the Solfeggio frequencies to help heal body, mind and soul.

Chakra Healing with Color

Each of our Chakras has it's own unique color, which are also the same colors that appear in a rainbow. These pure, spectral colors can be used to energetically influence the senses, balancing the body, mind and soul. Colors also have frequencies, measured in terahertz, and wavelengths measured in nanometers. A very powerful Chakra meditation is to "breath in" color; with each breath, imagine breathing in a particular Chakra color, and direct this charged "Prana" (the Life giving Energy of the Universe, which we take in through the air we breath) to that Chakra, infusing it with Life energy.

The Root Chakra color is Red 430–480 THz 700–635 nm	The Navel Chakra color is Orange 480–510 THz 635–590 nm	The Solar Plexus Chakra color is Yellow 510–540 THz 590–560 nm	The Heart Chakra color is Green 540–610 THz 560–490 nm

The seven Chakras are also connected to the seven layers of the aura: the Etheric, Emotional, Mental, Astral, the Etheric Template, Celestial and Ketheric Template of layers the aura. Each Chakra also has crystals and gemstones of co-ordinated colors, which can be used in crystal healing. Chakra color healing has a profound effect physically, emotionally and spiritually; if our Chakras are blocked or drained, then our body, spirit and mind can not function properly. Clearing and balancing our Chakras with Chakra colors, Chakra sounds, breath and positive affirmation can easily and effectively, bring us back into a vibrant and healthy balance.
